Dear Xiangya Overseas Alumni:

The Xiangya Overseas Alumni Association (XYOAA) elected their forth president, Dr. Li-Ming Zhang. He started his role as the new president at the beginning of 2015 along working with the newly elected Board Chair, Dr. Zhongxin Liao.  Thanks for alumni's support for our XYOAA Web Project initiatives.  XYOAA is organizing 2016 Xiangya Alumni Gathering and its Symposium. We need you financial support to make our gathering very successfully. 

On behalf of XYOAA – 湘雅海外校友会, we would like to express our sincere appreciation and gratitude toward our alumni donors and industry sponsors. Your trust and support are essential for the core mission of this Alumni Association – to serve 湘雅校友。      

XYOAA is a non-profit organization exempt from taxation under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The applicable Internal Revenue Service regulation provides that the amount of the contribution is deductible for federal income tax purposes. The XYOAA finance committee will periodically give a financial report to the Board of Trustees. Any remaining fund in the web budget will be used to support other important work as determined by the Board of Trustees. In the meantime, we encourage our alumni to make suggestions as well as contributions to XYOAA so we could establish additional projects to serve our alumni.
